The Cube restaurant has perched in Milan

The Cube, one of the hottest pop-up dining experiences in Milan. Set in front of the Piazza del Duomo for fantastic views of the cathedral. Electrolux, a global leader in Scandinavian designed home appliances and appliances for professional use, came up with the concept of a temporary eating experience and through this conceptualization, Electrolux came up with the idea of The Cube, a glass walled portable structure that was designed by Park Associate, an Italian architecture firm. The Cube has been popping up all over European landmarks since last April. The most recent placement of the restaurant before Milan was Brussels' Parc du Cinquantenaire. This mobile restaurant is made of lightweight materials so it could be assembled and disassembled with ease. The white exterior and aluminum skin work together to maximize daylight while reducing solar heat gain making The Cube ultra-modern and eco-friendly.
The Cube offers an exclusive food experience of not only being able to enjoy delicious and creative meals by a rotating team of award winning Italian chefs but also allowing guests to interact with the chefs to learn insider tips and hints for entertaining at home with high-end Electrolux appliances that are showcased. The elegant lunches and dinners are enough to attract anyone looking for unique dining not to mention the incredible view of the Cathedral while perched on top of a roof. Guests will eat in an intimate setting with a community style table that accommodates 18 people. Reservations is a must when going to The Cube, the limited seating and short period of time it resides in Milan, (December 19 - April 26, 2012) makes getting seats at this high-end restaurant even more sought after. The Cube is more than just a restaurant; it’s a mean of becoming inspired, if not by the spectacular views, then by the distinctive architecture, inventive dishes, or just the chefs themselves.
