Felicity Jones for Dolce & Gabbana
Culture
Her big green eyes and undeniable charm are really striking. A classic beauty with a very modern attitude, Felicity Jones has even won over Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. They announced her as their new face at the launch of the Dolce & Gabbana The Make Up Khol Collection.
Born in Birmingham 28 years ago, the very expressive English actress will interpret the new make-up collection by playing the part of a rebellious aristocratic girl, a symbol of that contradictory that struck the Italian designers.
Stefano Gabbana said that Felicity represented “a heady mix of sensuality, confidence and beauty.”
She won a Special Jury Prize at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival for the Drake Doremuse film Like Crazy and will be involved in Warren Beatty’s future project on the life and loves of the magnate Howard Hughes (already played by Leonardo Di Caprio in The Aviator). She’s a well-known face in the fashion world (she appeared on the catwalk in 2011 for Burberry). Her latest outing on the red carpet saw her in a Dolce & Gabbana dress from the spring-summer 2012 collection.
It’s a really magical moment for Jones, who said: “2011 has been the most surreal, fantastical, incredible year of my existence.”
